The latest iWork Update, version 9.0.4, is a free download and recommended for iWork 9.0, 9.0.1, 9.0.2, and 9.0.3. It addresses issues in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers. Apple lists full details of the new and re-worked features of each part of the suite here.
However, as CNET News explains, the most significant change comes in Pages 4.0.4. The word-processing app now includes compatibility with the ePub format, which Apple uses for iBooks.
Apple has published a document on its support site giving users tips on creating documents in the ePub format that covers everything from using paragraph styles in your Pages document to providing a downloadable template to use.
Great for authors but you don't need to be an author to make good use the ePub format. CNET News elaborates.
