Amazon to let Kindle users lend e-Books

Coming soon, Amazon.com will let users of its Kindle e-reader and free Kindle apps share digital books. Amazon.com said the new feature would be available later this year with Kindle users being able to lend books once for a loan period of 14 days — the lender cannot read the book during the loan period. Additionally, not all e-books will be lendable — this is solely up to the publisher or rights holder, who determines which titles are enabled for lending.

Additionally Amazon.com will be making Kindle newspapers and magazines readable on their free Kindle apps ... full details on their site.
